Below are a list of terms that you, as a new listener of We Hit & Run, may not immediately understand upon first hearing. This page acts as a source for those seeking clearer callback explanation.
2dudestalkradio: A Las Vegas Based podcast that existed for only two episodes. Consisted of former We Hit & Run listeners, and Kevin credits them for defeating WHAR in a heated “radio war”.
Victory Show: A 9-month ‘tease’ was once in effect as we awaited the ‘Victory Show’. The ‘Victory Show’ was the first show after Kevin beat his felony charges- as he was allowed by the judge to ‘re-plea’ once he completed his stipulations of probation. The ‘Victory Show’ began with “Sympathy For The Devil” by The Rolling Stones. Hear the victory show here.
Drink-Off/Pose-Off: The first alcoholic event by We Hit & Run way back in August of 2007, featuring Jake of Jim & Them. This show is often referenced whenever hell breaks lose or Kevin feels as though he has lost control of the show, due to how crowded and unlistenable this show was.
“This Is Horrible Radio”: Possibly We Hit & Run’s most used soundbyte. It originates from a night Kevin and Anthony were badgering Jake of Jim & Them to tell a story about a time he cried in front of a woman. Kevin at this time felt embarrassed by his own story, and Anthony’s lack of an example. He continued to demand potentially demeaning details from Jake about the night he cried in front of a girl, demands that Jake replied to with “This Is Horrible Radio“.
Hit & Running Talk Shoe: Real Kid Radio’s most successful segment and encouraged to be performed by everybody. Talk Shoe is a terrible website where anybody with a phone can have a radio show. Fuck with them and send in the results to wehitandrun@gmail.com.
“HAROOOOO”: A sound clip originated from Jim and Them member Brandon Chaney. It has taken on the form of a drinking queue in recent months.
“Retail Ant”: Anthony Saunders is a manager at a prominent retail company. The term ‘Retail Ant’ is used to describe phony Anthony, a reference to the fact that when he puts on his tie and goes to work his entire demeanor and voice changes.
The Apple-Mantini Shootoff: An alcohol-fueled event between Anthony and Kevin. See ‘video’ page for more information.
Shots Til Ya Drop: An alcohol-fueled event between Anthony and a former show member/drinking Champion Sid Avitia. See ‘video’ page for more information.
“Hey Kevin, Here’s The Word Of Gawd”: A phrase first yelled by Sid Avitia during his storm-out of August 2007. Kevin was criticizing and questioning his religious beliefs, Sid’s responce was- “Do I knock on your door and say…”. The phrase has been imitated frequently.
The Every Show: A term once used to describe a terrible, Las Vegas-based, internet “talk” show. This awful show called into an episode of Real Kid Radio on KLAV, Kevin then called in to The Every Show and pwn’ed them. The Every Show, who are proud to be on the internet, and who pay to be on the internet, then sent false complaints to KLAV in order to get Real Kid Radio kicked off the air. They are also responsible for the psycho-lady quotes at the start of We Hit & Run’s intro.
